First time, that Michael (my surving nephew) talked to his parents. His father asked him, if he recognize him and he did, he also remembered the names. So, this is one good sign!!!
He still has many problems and is not too clear in his head, but we think this is also because of all the meds he gets.
After he can leave ICU they will put him to a special head - hospital.

The funeral for him (Stefan, 18 years old) is today.
The other boy (20 years) is still in hospital.
He got an artifical coma after sugery and removing parts of his small and large intestine. Then he had bleedings in his head.
Now the docs decided that the coma is no longer needed and stoped it, but as far as I know he does not awake - but does react to talking to him. I consider this as a good sign.

I think he still does not know anything about his brother and friends.

In the car were 5 people. 4 of them are from my hometown. For two is the funeral today. 3 are still in hospital - and the docs don't tell them anything about the others. One is always asking about his friends...
